Men Fire Automatic Weapons, Children Dance with Loaded Firearms at West Bank Groom’s Parties. On July 8-9, 2022, Gaza Now outlet shared on its Facebook page footage from groom’s celebrations in the West Bank. At the parties, dozens of men danced with loaded handguns, M-16-style rifles, and Tavor TAR-21 rifles. Several men fired their weapons in the air on automatic, and small children and young boys also handled and danced with loaded firearms. It should be noted that almost all of the firearms and weapon accessories seen in the video appear to have originally belonged to the Israeli military.

Children’s Indoctrination: Jordanian Boy Pledges to Be Martyred for Jerusalem In Viral Video. On April 7, 2019, the Gaza TV Media YouTube account posted a video of a small Jordanian boy volunteering to go to Jerusalem and die as a martyr. In the video, the boy, Amir Al-Khasawne, is seen marching with a slingshot and a toy rifle. When his mother asks him where he is going, he says: “I’m going on a journey far away. I might not come back.” Later in the video Amir tells his mother that he is going to Jerusalem, to “the martyr Omar Abu Laila and his friends.” On March 19, 2019, Omar Abu Laila, fatally stabbed Sgt. Gal Keidan, grabbed his gun and shot to death Rabbi Achiad Ettinger. The boy Al-Khasawne continued: “I will shoot the Jews who shot Omar.” When his mother warns him that he would be killed, the boy says: “It’s no big deal, mommy. I will die for the sake of Jerusalem. Isn’t Jerusalem worth dying for? Isn’t Al-Aqsa worth dying for?” In tears, Amir calls out: “For the sake of Allah, oh Arabs! This is Jerusalem! It is the destination of the Prophet’s Night Journey! They sold out Jerusalem!” He concluded by calling upon Saladin to “wake up.” The video was produced by Mays Alreem for Television Photography.

West Bank Kindergarten Posts TikTok Videos show Children Simulating Clashes with Israeli Military. Al-Tofula Kindergarten in Beit Awwa in the West Bank posted several videos to its TikTok account on February 14, 2023 showcasing the students simulating clashes with the Israel military forces and mimicking Palestinian militants. In one video, kindergarten students act out a scene in which Israeli soldiers attempt to arrest Palestinian militants in their home, however, their attempts are foiled, and two soldiers are killed, one of the Palestinian militants is shot dead in the clashes. The students then perform a funeral procession for the child simulating the “martyr.” In another video, students, with their faces covered in kufiyas, are seen simulating military training with toy guns and marching with guns in the air. According to the inscription on one of the videos, TikTok has removed the videos several times.

Children Visit Hamas Weapons Expo in Gaza, Pose for Photos with Weapons and Fighters. On July 2, 2023, Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) aired a report about a weapons exhibitions organized by Hamas in Gaza. The exhibition was attended by many children, who can be seen posing for photos with weapons and with armed and masked Hamas fighters. Suhail Al-Hindi, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, said that Hamas is preparing for the “decisive battle” with the enemy, and he praised the rocket and tunnel capabilities of Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades military wing.

Palestinian Children Burn U.S. Flag, Pictures of Trump in PA-Run Summer Camp. On July 3, 2019, the Palestinian Authority’s Higher Council for Youth and Sports uploaded to its Facebook page a video about a summer camp that it was running in Tulkarm in the West Bank. Ihsan Hattab, the camp director, said that the camp’s goal is to provide children with a patriotic education and that the camp is under the Higher Council’s auspices and is run by the Society for Children with Autism and Learning Disabilities. He added that 25 special needs children aged 13-15 were participating in the camp along with 100 non-disabled Palestinian children. Yaman, a young boy participating in the program, said that in the first day of the program, they discussed the Deal of the Century and that the following day, they tore up and burned pictures of the American flag and U.S. President Donald Trump. The video shows young children tearing up and burning the pictures and stepping on pictures of the flag and of Donald Trump with horns.

At Kindergarten Graduation Ceremonies In West Bank, Children Dance With Toy Guns, Fatah Headbands This clip is a compilation of kindergarten graduation ceremonies that took place in Tulkarm in the West Bank in the summer of 2016. The ceremonies were aired on the Tulkarm-based Al-Salam TV. At a June 3, 2016, ceremony at the Flowers of Palestine kindergarten, children performed a skit to a poem with the lyrics: “I am Al-Aqsa… I am looking for someone to help me… Your silence is more dangerous to me than the tunnels that run underneath me. If not for your silence, the occupiers would not have dared to storm and defile me.” The skit involved children standing before a child who lay on the ground and pretended to have been killed, while other children pretended to be Israeli soldiers with guns. The sound of gunfire was played on the speakers, and a song started playing, with the lyrics: “We will not leave the Al-Aqsa Mosque, even if one million of us are wounded [or] if millions of us are martyred.” At a May 29 ceremony at the Al-Aqsa kindergarten, children marched and crawled with toy guns to a song with the lyrics: “We will continue to make sacrifices until our last breath. Jerusalem is not for sale… The [Jewish] Temple will never be erected.” At a ceremony on the same day at the Al-Firdaus kindergarten, children wearing camouflage uniforms marched with toy guns to the same song. The children also pretended to shoot their guns from a prone position. At a May 30 ceremony at the Zuhur Shweika kindergarten, children wore yellow Fatah headbands and carried toy guns as they pretended to march, run, and crouch with their weapons. Some of the children also performed somersaults, imitating acrobatic performances made by terror groups.

In a July 15, 2022 episode of “Pioneers of Tomorrow,” a children’s show aired on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV in Gaza, a man dressed in a puppet costume spoke about Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque with children. A little girl said that the Jews must not be allowed to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. A young boy also said that if the Muslims adhere to shari’a law, Palestine will surely be liberated. The man said that the Muslims must also wage Jihad, and the boy responded that Jihad for the sake of Allah is the “pinnacle of Islam”. In addition, the man said that the “criminal Jews” have a plot, explaining: “They are digging tunnels under the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to… I forgot, what do they want to build?… They want to replace the Dome of the Rock with the Tem… the Tem… What is it called?” In response, the boy said that the Jews want to build the “false Solomon’s Temple”, but that this will never happen as long as the Palestinians defend Jerusalem. The boy then declared that the Palestinians will fight to their last drop of blood, and the man agreed and praised the martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners, and the exiles who have sacrificed for the defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Children at Gaza Kindergarten Performance Marking 104th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration On November 2, 2021, the Portage Kindergarten for the Development of Intelligence and the Senses in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza, uploaded to its YouTube channel and Facebook account a video of its students doing a choreographed dance that involved waving Palestinian flags, thumping their chests, and raising their fists in the air to a song with the lyrics: “We have a generation of children who will protect the pledge [and] end the memory of [the Balfour Declaration]… We are your owners, oh Palestine… Since the days of the Canaanites.” The video then showed kindergarteners saying to the camera slogans such as “Down with the Balfour Declaration,” “Palestine is ours,” “We shall return,” and “Palestine, free and proud.” According to online sources, the Portage Program provides care for children with special needs.

This clip is a compilation of videos showing the graduation ceremony of the Young Deer Kindergarten in Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip. The videos were posted on the school’s Facebook page between May 24 and May 27, 2023. In the videos, young children wearing military fatigues perform military-style drills, celebrate the establishment of the PLO under the leadership of “the eternal leader, the martyred brother, Yasser Arafat”, and trample the Israeli flag, and sing: “If words don’t help, we shall erase [the Deal of the Century] with machine guns.” In one of the videos, a “newscaster” announces that following a “surprise attack”, the last Israeli soldier has surrendered and all of Palestine, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, has been finally “liberated.”
